The Central Coast Council is represented by 15 Councillors who were elected for a 4-year term, until September 2028.
A Councillor’s role as an elected representative is to provide an essential link between the community and Council. Councillors must work as a team to make decisions and policies that guide the activities of the council.

Central Coast Council is inviting the community to have their say on a proposed Special Entertainment Precinct in Gosford, aimed at supporting a vibrant and growing night-time economy.Council Mayor, Lawrie McKinna said Gosford was the natural choice for the Central Coast’s first Special Entertainment Precinct, with the city centre experiencing strong residential growth and increased demand for after-dark activities.“Gosford is changing, with more people choosing to live in the city centre.-

What happened to the old skate ramp at EDSAAC Bateau Bay?
The ageing skate ramp located next to the newer BATO Yard skatepark facility was demolished following a recent assessment of the infrastructure which deemed it unsafe for further use.This old skate area at Entrance District Sport and Community Centre (EDSAAC) was planned for removal following the construction of the larger new regional skate park at BATO Yard.-
