Come along to the Youth Day Out ‘Summer Sessions’ at Terrigal

This event is run by Central Coast Council as part of its Youth Service Programs (including Youth for Youth Leadership Program and Central Coast Skatepark Series).

Free beginner skateboard and scooter lessons  

Note: only the skateboard and scooter lessons at Youth Day Out require bookings, all other activities are drop-in at any time.
 
Each session will introduce the basics of skateboarding or freestyle scooter riding with one of our awesome community coaches.
 
Learn to stand on a skateboard, push, stop, carve and roll-in on small ramps or learn the correct stance on your scooter, plus how to carve, bunnyhop and roll in on small ramps.

• Each session has both a scooter or skateboard group (select during booking)
• Sessions run for 45 minutes, with 15-minute registration at start 
• This workshop caters for beginners of all ages - from 6 years through to high school ages. 
• We can even lend you a helmet and a skateboard or scooter for the session for FREE if you don't have your own!
   
  Free Beginner Skate and Scooter Workshop sessions 
• Session 1: 10am to 11am - Open to all skaters and riders with little to no experience on a skateboard, scooter or at a skatepark.
• Session 2 (Girls only): 11am to 12noon - Open to girls with little to no experience on a skateboard, scooter or at a skatepark.
• Session 3: 12noon to 1pm - Open to all skaters and riders with little to no experience on a skateboard, scooter or at a skatepark.
• Session 4: 1pm to 2pm - Open to all skaters and riders with little to no experience on a skateboard, scooter or at a skatepark.

 
Note: Parental or carer supervision is required for lessons in primary school age, and recommended for other activities on the day.
