Help your furry friend be reunited with you if they get lost
If you are a Central Coast resident, bring your dog or cat to our SoCares run Animal Care Facilities to be microchipped for free:
Saturday 13 April 2024
8:30am to 2:30pm
Socares Central Coast Animal Shelter - Erina
Pateman Rd, Erina
You can have your four-legged friend microchipped for free or have their registration details updated on the day. Those in attendance will also be able to gain access to responsible pet ownership advice, educational material and products.
Why microchipping and registering your pet is important?
Microchipping and registration are an important legal requirement when owning a pet and helps to ensure your pet can be reunited with you should they become lost. Microchipping also alleviates pressure on local Animal Care Facilities as it helps them to locate owners of lost pets or have them rehomed.
This is part of our aim to increase the number of identified, registered, desexed dogs and cats across the Central Coast.
Bookings not required. If you have any questions or enquiries, email Sara.Blanchfield@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au
