The purpose of the committee is to provide advice and recommendations to Council on all matters involving the local economy, employment, and regional development.

The Council committee consist of 5 (five) Councillors, plus the Mayor:

• Mayor Lawrie McKinna (Chair and voting member)
• Councillor John McNamara (Deputy Chair and voting member)
• Councillor John Mouland (voting member)
• Councillor Trent McWaide (voting member)
• Councillor Belinda Neal (voting member)
• Councillor Kyle MacGregor (voting member)

The committee will meet once a month on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:00pm, with the exception that there be no meeting in January.

The committee meetings will be livestreamed. Members of the public can view the livestream of the meetings by visiting the Central Coast Council Live Stream on YouTube.

Members of the public are also invited to attend as observers. The location of Economic Development Committee meetings is the Central Coast Council Administration Building, 2 Hely Street Wyong.
