Councillor Kyle MacGregor brings a wealth of diverse experience to the Central Coast Council, grounded in his academic background and a commitment to public service. With a Bachelor of Arts and Education, majoring in History and minoring in European Studies, Kyle is currently a dedicated teacher, having spent nearly a decade in public education. His career began in the NSW Public Service as a research officer, followed by roles as an industrial advocate in the construction industry, where he honed his skills in workplace management and work health and safety.
Kyle's background experience working as a musician and various hands-on jobs such as painter, cleaner, and labourer, provides him with a unique perspective on the economy and the workings of government. Deeply engaged in the labour movement throughout his adult life, he also holds a keen interest in agriculture, the environment, and the arts. A long-time supporter of community sport, Kyle has been actively involved in local sporting clubs for 25 years, showcasing his commitment to fostering community connections on the Central Coast.
