Councillor Helen Crowley brings over five decades of experience in healthcare to her role, having started her career as a nurse at age 17. Over her 52-year career, she worked across numerous specialties, dedicating her final 30 years to mental health. During this time, she managed the Wyong Hospital Mental Health Complex and the Gosford unit, overseeing critical mental health services on the Central Coast. In retirement, she continued her commitment to community well-being by serving as a Lifeline crisis counsellor and working with trauma survivors.
A devoted mother of three and grandmother of five, Councillor Crowley is passionate about building a trustworthy, transparent, and accountable Council. She advocates for balanced infrastructure development that preserves the environment and protects local amenities. Her focus on good governance is coupled with a practical approach to addressing cost-of-living challenges. Through ethical decision-making and strategic planning, Councillor Crowley is dedicated to creating a sustainable and vibrant Central Coast community for generations to come.
