06/06/2022Flavours by the Sea was held on Saturday 26 March from 11am – 3pm along the Terrigal Esplanade and proved to be an enormous success with an estimated 3,000 locals and visitors enjoying the live entertainment and activities. The event saw a total economic impact of $376,242 injected into the Central Coast area economy.
The weather did not stop people from gathering in the rain to watch all the live entertainment, even staying to watch the incredibly talented Bobby Alu perform the final set of the day. The lion dance saw attendees line the pathways to watch the spectacular performance as they roamed through the event site while the multicultural games saw attendees of all ages participating and testing their skills.
The tables that lined the Esplanade were utilised to the fullest with attendees grabbing takeaway food from the local participating food businesses and bringing it back into the event site.
