Whether you want to improve your health, connect with new people or simply get out of the house, our FREE active programs at Memorial Park could be just what you’re looking for!
Tai Chi
Every Thursday, 9.30am-10.30am
Come along and experience the fitness and relaxation benefits Tai Chi has to offer. Suitable for all ages and strengths, this low impact this program helps improve both mental and physical health by improving blood circulation, increasing mental focus and ability to concentrate, keeping muscles and joints youthful and pliable, and so much more.
Fitness in the Park
Every Wednesday of the School Term, 10-11am
Connect with like-minded people in our community to help support your journey to a healthier lifeliving. This program has a comprehensive approach to healthy living, with a 45minute workout sessions followed by a 15minute chat on nutrition and maintaining a well-balanced diet. No matter what your fitness level or age everyone is welcome, including carers and their children. The group meets at the BBQ/playground area next to the carpark.
Both programs are COVID-safe to ensure the wellbeing and safety of participants. Maximum capacity is 100 participants per session and attendees need to check-in to meet COVID-safe requirements.
