Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 14(1)(b), (2) and (4) and Clause 16(1) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021, Council has adopted an amendment to Central Coast Development Control Plan 2022 (CCDCP), specifically through an amendment to Chapter 5.34 Tuggerah Precinct and the addition of Chapter 4.7 Tuggerah Regional City.

Purpose: The purpose of this chapter is to provide detailed planning and design guidelines to support the Tuggerah Gateway Site Planning (Rezoning) Proposal. 

The Planning Proposal seeks to rezone the approximate 42-hectare Gateway Site for a range of low, medium, and high-density housing options. The housing is to be supported by a range of commercial, retail, community, recreation, and entertainment uses. 

This amendment repeals the previous version of Central Coast DCP 2022 and will become effective from the date amendment to the Central Coast Local Environmental Plan 2022 relating to Planning Proposal PP-2021-5416 Tuggerah Gateway Site, is notified as being in effect on the NSW Legislation Website.
