This public notice is given in relation to the current update to Plan of Management for Community Land.

Council owns around 2500 lots of community land. The way in which community land is managed and its categorisation is recorded in the Community Land Plan of Management (POM).

The POM facilitates the use of Council community land by the public and the issue of leases and licences over community land. Any development on community land must also be consistent with the provision of the relevant POM.

In late 2024 Council commenced a review of the Community Land POM. A  number of public hearings were held as part of the public consultation.
