Proposed classification of land at rear of 360 Main Road Toukley 2263

This public notice is given in relation to the acquisition by Central Coast Council of land behind 360 Main Road Toukley.

Notice is hereby given that it is intended to consider a proposed resolution to classify the land as Operational Land at a future meeting of Council.

The land that is the subject of this public notice is being acquired as a consequence of a development consent DA/771/2016. This development includes as a condition of consent the creation and dedication of the subject land to Council for the purpose of a future public laneway. The land was created via subdivision of an existing lot pursuant to SC/57/2024.

The Toukley Development Control Plan includes provisions to the effect that a laneway should be created behind properties fronting the north side of Main Road to the immediate west of Evans Road. A number of the lots affected by this provision of the Toukley DCP have already been acquired by Council. 

To facilitate creation of the future laneway, it is necessary that the land be classified as Operational Land by Council resolution. The terms of the proposed resolution will be to the following affect:

  1. That Council notes that, in accordance with the provisions of Section 34 of the Local Government Act 1993 (LG Act), public notice has been duly given of the    intention to classify land comprising Lot 74 in DP 1305571 otherwise known as the land to the rear of 360 Main Road Toukley 2263
  2.  That Council determines that Lot 74 in DP 1305571 be classified as Operational Land. 

In accordance with section 34 of the Local Government Act 1993, submissions may be made to Council between Wednesday 20 November 2024 and Wednesday 18 December 2024 in relation to the proposed classification of land.
