Pre-polling opens today for September 9 Local Government elections

The Central Coast Council election is on Saturday 9 September. Central Coast Council is one of 46 councils across NSW going to the polls to decide who will represent their communities for the next three years.

If, for some reason, you can’t vote on Election Day, you can vote at a pre-polling venue across the coast from today (Monday 28 August):

  • Blue Haven Community Hall, 1 Apsley Court, Blue Haven
  • Central Coast Returning Officer’s Office, 2/1 Reliance Drive, Tuggerah
  • Gosford Pre-Poll, Gosford Showground, Old Tote Rooms, 84a Showground Road, Gosford
  • Terrigal 50+ Learning and Leisure Centre, Duffys Road, Terrigal
  • The Entrance Pre-Poll, 26 The Entrance Rd, The Entrance
  • The Erina Centre, Meeting Room 3, The Hive, Erina Fair, North South Road, Erina
  • Toukley Presbyterian Church, 37 Victoria Ave, Toukley
  • Woy Woy Pre-Poll, Woy Woy Stadium, Oval Ave, Woy Woy
  • Wyong Pre-Poll, 11-13 Hely Street, Wyong

Pre-poll venues will be open 8.30am – 5.30pm (Mon – Fri) and 9am – 5pm (Sat). Pre-polling will operate extended hours on Friday 8 September, closing at 6pm.

Residents who wish to apply for a postal vote should act now. Postal voting applications must be made to the NSW Electoral Commission by 5pm Monday 4 September.

On Election Day, polling places will be open from 8am until 6pm.
