16/11/2021Last week I commenced open office sessions with members of the community to further gauge community sentiment on maintaining the current level of rates for a further seven years, consistent with what we asked for earlier this year. This comes as a result of a recent announcement proposing that an application be made to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART).
I would like to thank those members of the community who have taken the time to meet with me, along with their frankness and pragmatism in discussing this very important issue. The discussion and feedback received during these sessions has been most useful in shaping how Council moves forward. In particular was the feedback provided on sharing with the community how Council is tracking against the initial business plan laid out to achieve financial sustainability. This is something that is now in train.
So please, if you would like to seek information, have questions, or simply want to further discuss this issue, sessions are still available!
Please email my office to make a booking at theadministrator@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au
See below for session dates and times. Numbers per session will be capped and your session time confirmed by return email.
