31/07/2022Flood-affected residents on the Central Coast continue to recover following the recent weather and flooding event.
Council would like to remind local impacted residents of the support available to assist them during their recovery. This includes rental support payments for flood victims and grants for rural landholders announced on Sunday 31 July 2021, to soon be available for all communities affected by the June-July NSW flood event including the Central Coast. More than $23 million in relief funding from the Commonwealth and New South Wales governments, will soon be made available for those impacted communities.
Council crews remain on ground, focused on making areas safe for the community, clearing debris from roads, footpaths, public spaces and repairing the significant damage to our road networks across our local government area, our lakes, and coastal foreshores.
