Oh, what a feeling! Multi-platinum-selling artist, Grammy award winner and music icon, Lionel Richie, is set to deliver a stellar performance of his greatest hits at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday, March 31.

Boasting the stunning Brisbane Water as its backdrop, the Stadium is well equipped to host this not-to-be-missed evening of entertainment.

Director Assets, Infrastructure and Business Mike Dowling said Council’s $1.7 million investment this financial year for Stadium infrastructure upgrades was paying dividends to the community.

“Central Coast Stadium is well renowned as a premier sporting and entertainment facility, but securing a quality international performer like Lionel Richie demonstrates its capacity to be so much more”, Mr Dowling said.

“We will continue to put the infrastructure in place to entice more world-class acts to our local area – why travel to Sydney and Newcastle when we have everything we need right here?”

Mayor Smith said she is delighted that Lionel Richie has selected the Central Coast for one of only three shows in NSW.

“Music brings people and communities together, and to have an international performer on our own doorstep is a very exciting moment for us and our region”, Mayor Smith said.

“I look forward to welcoming more international acts to the Central Coast in the very near future”.
