21/06/2021Central Coast Council’s June/July school holiday program is here, with a wide range of online and face-to-face activities on offer to keep young minds entertained and bodies moving throughout the winter break.
Families can head to the School Holidays what’s on page on Council’s website to see everything that’s taking place. From live entertainment, arts and crafts and skills training to sports challenges, robotics and DJ workshops, there’s something on offer for all ages, interests and abilities.
All face-to-face programs will operate in a COVID-safe way, including limited numbers in each workshop to ensure the health and wellbeing of participants. Families are encouraged to book ahead to secure their spot and avoid disappointment.

What’s on for our Youth
There are many ways for young people to build skills and explore their passions these school holidays. Council’s Youth Services team is running free employment skills training, as well as skateboarding and scooter skills workshops, healthy gamer workshops, art and DJ skills sessions!
What's on at our Leisure Centres
Kids can keep active with a wide range of swimming and sporting activities taking place at our pools and leisure centres. With learn to swim programs, basketball clinics, jumping castles and obstacle courses, there’s plenty to get the blood pumping!
What's on across our Libraries
At Council’s Libraries, kids can get involved in a range of activities designed to inspire young minds. Families can take part in the Great Recycle Maker Challenge or test their children’s book knowledge in a live online trivia session! Take your pick from creative writing workshops, Storytime sessions, Lego building, yarn bombing, table top gaming and more.
What’s on at our Theatres
It’s fun for the whole family at Laycock Street Community Theatre, with some fantastic kid-friendly shows running these school holidays. Experience amazing puppetry, live songs and stunning visuals with Urza and The Song in the Dark, take an explosive alphabetical journey through science with the Alphabet of Awesome Science or listen to Dami Im present her chart-topping hits and fan favourites!
