Central Coast Council is delivering a jam-packed program of online and face-to-face activities and events throughout the April school holidays, giving Central Coast families plenty of ways to keep young minds entertained and bodies active over the Easter break.

Parents, carers and guardians can head to the School Holidays what’s on page on Council’s website to see everything that’s taking place - from heritage tours, live entertainment and escape rooms to sports challenges, Easter crafts and skills workshops, there’s something on offer for all ages, interests and abilities.

What's on at our Town Centres

Bring the kids down to any of our four town centre locations for a range of fun activities for all ages, as part of Council’s new Social Spaces event. Gosford, Toukley, The Entrance and Wyong will play host to a variety of interactive activities and workshops including Easter craft, a fun-filled petting zoo, laser skirmish, mobile games truck and more!

For a special Easter treat, families can head to Memorial Park and Waterfront Plaza at The Entrance on Easter Saturday to meet a roving giant Easter bunny.

What’s on for our Youth

Council’s Youth Services and local youth providers have a range of exciting events and workshops to help young people across our region build skills, explore their passions, connect, and be inspired in celebration of National Youth Week.

From attending a skate and scooter competition or Youth Fest, wellbeing or robotics workshops, to livestreaming the first Central Coast Youth Week Awards aimed at acknowledging the achievements and outstanding contributions of local young people, there will be something for all ages, interests, and abilities.

The Youth Week calendar will also provide an avenue for young people looking to connect and socialise with friends this school holidays.

What’s on for the whole family

There will be plenty of opportunities for the whole family to bring out their picnic rug and enjoy great food, great music, festoon lighting, and great company, with Council’s pop-up dining experiences set to light up communal spaces across four town centres.

With live entertainment, an array of delicious dinner options, and a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere, the community can come together and enjoy the best of what their local restaurants and businesses have to offer.

What's on across our libraries

At Council’s libraries, kids can get involved in a range of face-to-face activities designed to activate young minds.

Explore the science of robotics with Ozobots, enter the exciting world of tabletop gaming with Paints of War, challenge family and friends playing our selection of board games, decorate a skateboard deck, create some colourful pictures using a simple sand art technique, or even get their hands dirty by creating their own unique paper mache bowl.
