Council services and facilities over Easter holidays and Anzac Day

        Central Coast Council offices and a number of services will be closed over the Easter Long Weekend from Friday 15 to Monday 18 April and on Anzac Day on Monday 25 April.

        Customer service will be closed on the public holidays (15, 18 and 25 April). Customers can contact Council with non-emergency enquiries, requests, reporting issues or formal feedback through our online Customer Service Centre 24/7 at centralcoast.nsw.gov.au which will be progressed by our Customer Service Team during business hours. We have an out of hours service available on 1300 463 954 to call in any urgent reports such as water main breaks, sewer issues or fallen trees over roads.

        Libraries - All branch libraries will be closed over the Easter period Friday 15 April – Monday 18 April. All after hours chutes will be closed from COB on Thursday 14 April until 9am Tuesday 19 April. Libraries will resume regular operations from 9am Tuesday 19 April. Libraries will be closed on Anzac Day.

        Early Childhood Education and Care centres - closed on all public holidays (15, 18 and 25 April). This has been communicated to all families through the Centres.

        Leisure Centres and Gyms – Peninsula Leisure Centre: Friday 15 April (closed), Saturday 16 April (open 10am to 4pm, gym is staffed 10am to 2pm), Sunday 17 April (open 10am to 4pm), Monday 18 April (open 10am to 4pm, gym staffed 10am to 2pm). Gosford Pool and Toukley Aquatic Centre: Friday 15 April (closed), Saturday 16 April (open 10am to 3pm), Sunday 17 April (open 10am to 3pm), Monday 18 April (open 10am to 3pm). Lake Haven Recreation Centre: Friday 15 April (not staffed), Saturday 16 April (9am to 2pm), Sunday 17 April (not staffed), Monday 18 April (9am to 2pm). Niagara Park Stadium is closed from Friday 15 April and re-opens Thursday 21 April. All centres are closed on Anzac Day.

        Grant McBride Baths, The Entrance – Open all Easter holidays and on Anzac Day with Lifeguard staff in attendance 9 am to 5pm.

        Beaches - The Central Coast has 15 patrolled coastal beaches with lifeguards on duty from 9am to 5pm. To see the open/close status of Central Coast beaches over the Easter holiday weekend or on Anzac Day go to the Beach Safe website.         Regional Gallery and Edogawa Commemorative Garden, East Gosford will be closed on Good Friday and open as usual over the remainder of the long weekend. The shop will open at midday each day. On ANZAC Day the Gallery will open at midday.

        Laycock St Theatre – box office will be closed on the public holidays over Easter. You can purchase tickets online through www.centralcoast.nsw.gov.au/theatres/whats-on

        Waste services and facilities – residential waste collections continue as normal on public holidays. There are extensive delays on kerbside bulk collections due to impact of COVID on our contractor’s staffing levels, and impacts of additional picks up due to storm and flood recovery. Woy Woy and Buttonderry Waste Management Facilities will only be closed Good Friday

        Water and sewer – Any water service interruptions are listed on Council’s website. Urgent water or sewer issues (such as a spill, leak or bubbling water) should be reported to Council by phoning 1300 463 954 immediately so we can assess and respond as soon as possible.
