03/12/2019Central Coast Council Offices will be closed from 1pm on Tuesday 24 December for the annual Christmas closure and reopen on Thursday 2 January 2020 at 8.30am.
This includes the Gosford and Wyong Offices and Council works depots. All Library branches, excluding Community branches, will also be closed during this period. The community is advised to contact Gwandalan Library Link and Mooney Mooney Community Library directly to confirm shut down times and dates. Library chutes will not be open for returns during this period.
Essential services will continue throughout the closure period including residential waste collection, water treatment and lifeguard beach patrols.
Buttonderry, Kincumber and Woy Woy and Waste Management Facilities will only be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. On Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, these facilities will close at 1pm.
All Council leisure centres will be closed on Christmas and Boxing Day, and will be open on all other days, operating on adjusted hours.
The Gosford Regional Gallery will be closed on the designated public holidays – Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day – but will be open all other days.
Laycock Street Community Theatre and box office will close from 1pm on Tuesday 24 December reopen Monday 6 January at 10am.
The Entrance Visitor Information Centre will be open every day between 9am-5pm excluding Christmas Day.
Council operated childcare centres will be shut from Monday 23 December and reopen on Tuesday 7 January.

Council will continue to share important information provided by the RFS as required and will provide updates on any impact to Council services and assets through our communication channels.
