Council customer service centres reopen with a new Gosford location from 1 December 2021

Central Coast Council will reopen face-to-face customer service at Wyong and Gosford locations from 1 December and The Entrance Visitor Information Centre from 2 December. This will include the relocation of the Gosford customer service centre to 91-99 Mann Street.

Council Director Corporate Affairs and Chief Financial Officer, Natalia Cowley said it is pleasing to open up the remaining face-to-face customer service locations following a period of closure in compliance with the public health orders in place for COVID-19.

“Our Customer Service Centre has operated virtually without interruption in servicing since pandemic restrictions were put in place,” Ms Cowley said.

“We have relocated to a new shopfront in Gosford, as the Gosford Administration Building will be sold as part of Council’s financial recovery plan.

“The new storefront is conveniently located less than 140 metres from its previous location and will include two easily accessible self-service desks along with face-to-face support for our customers.

“Our team is excited to welcome back our customers to the service centres.”

Council Administrator, Rik Hart said Council remains committed to having a customer service presence in Gosford.

“The relocation of the Gosford Customer Service Centre ensures we still have presence within the Gosford area, whilst also servicing other customer service points across the Coast. I am pleased to see the community return to these locations and be able to receive face-to-face support once again.”

Furthermore, customers who wish to speak to a Duty Planner can do so by appointment only, with our centres reopening if customers are seeking a face-to-face appointment they can do so at the following times and locations from 1 December 2021:

  • Gosford Shopfront, 91-99 Mann Street Gosford - duty planner appointments:  Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 1pm
  • Wyong Customer Service Centre, 2 Hely Street Wyong - duty planner appointments:  Tuesday and Thursday, 10am to 1pm

Customers can make an appointment to see a Duty Planner by contacting council on 02 4306 7900 or in person at the Gosford Shopfront or Wyong Customer Service Centre only. We highly recommend calling first as this service is regularly booked out. A new booking system will be implemented by Council in 2022, to assist customers in making their own appointments, conveniently.

Both the Customer Service Centre at 2 Hely St, Wyong and 91-99 Mann St, Gosford will be open from 8.30am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

The Entrance Visitor Information Centre located at the Memorial Park, The Entrance will be open Thursday and Friday from 9.30am – 4.30pm
