09/11/2017Central Coast Council and the community are cleaning up after the severe storm that hit the Coast, particularly Toukley and Noraville on Monday afternoon.
A number of trees and powerlines came down leaving the area looking like a mini tornado had ripped through these two suburbs.
Council crews are currently focusing on the affected roads, drains and footpaths and removing all the debris. All roads are open so motorists can travel through the area but are reminded to take extra care as Council staff, SES volunteers and Ausgrid crews are still working in the area.
Residents affected by the storm are encouraged to book a bulk kerbside collection for pick-up of debris, particularly green waste with Council’s waste contractor Remondis by visiting 1coast.com.au or by calling 1300 126 278.
