Central Coast Council confirmed it will complete staff payroll for the week ending 18 October.

This follows confirmation by the State Government Minister for Local Government, Shelley Hancock today at 1pm that the NSW Government will advance Council $6.2million to meet payroll expenses and overdue payments to suppliers.  

An Extraordinary Council Meeting is underway this afternoon.
