In commemoration of ANZAC Day on Tuesday 25 April, services are being held across the Central Coast.

These services provide community members the opportunity to come together to pay their respects to our fallen servicemen and women, and acknowledge those who fought to defend our country and protect our way of life.

ANZAC Day event locations for 2017 include:

Doyalson
The dawn service will be held at 5am at the RSL Club Cenotaph, with breakfast served immediately afterward. The march begins at 8.25am at the Raw Challenge Course, Pacific Highway, ending at the Club Cenotaph, with a service to follow.

Gosford
The dawn service march begins from Gosford Police Station at 5.45am, with
a service at the Cenotaph at 6am. The main march from Kibble Park in Gosford, along Mann Street to the Cenotaph, will begin at 10am, with the memorial service held at the Cenotaph at 11am.

Ourimbah
A dawn service will be held at Ourimbah Public School at 5.30am. The march will commence at 2.25pm at the Southbound Lane, Pacific Highway from Yates Road, and conclude at Ourimbah Public School.

The Entrance
The dawn service will be held at 5.30am at The Entrance Cenotaph, Memorial Park. The march will commence at 11am along The Entrance Road from Ashton Street to Marine Parade, with a memorial service to be held at The Entrance Cenotaph at 11.45am.

To maintain the integrity of ANZAC Day, it is preferred that only direct descendants of veterans participate in the march, wearing their relative’s original/copied service medals on the right-hand side.

Terrigal
The dawn service march begins from Terrigal Police Station at 5.15am, with a service at the Memorial on The Esplanade to be held at 5.30am. The main service will be held at Breakers Country Club, Terrigal, at 11am.

Level 1 and 2 of the Wilson Road car park will be open, and Council will be providing additional untimed parking at The Haven, with a shuttle service to The Esplanade for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

People planning to attend these events are encouraged to make use of these alternative parking arrangements and travel together where possible.

Toukley
A dawn service will be held at 5.20am at The Cenotaph off Main Road. Assemble at Canton Beach Road at 9.15am for the march, with a service to follow at the Cenotaph off Main Road at 10.30am.

Woy Woy
The dawn service march begins from Woy Woy station at 5.15am, heading to Memorial Park in Brick Wharf Road, Woy Woy. The main march begins at 10am from Deepwater Plaza to Memorial Park, with a service to follow at 10.30am.

Wyong
A dawn service will be held at 5.30am in the RSL forecourt. A memorial service will be held at the Cenotaph in Rankin Street at 9.30am, with a march down Hely Street to follow.

Events will also be held at Catherine Hill Bay, Davistown, Ettalong Beach, Hardy’s Bay, Morriset, Pearl Beach and Wagstaffe. Several of these events will involve road closures.
