Administrator's Message - Harvest Festival a success for our region!

Despite the devastating weather experienced across the Central Coast only months ago, the Central Coast Harvest Festival 2022 has successfully delivered a great weekend for all! Showcasing what the Central Coast Hinterland has to offer, locals and visitors turned out to sample fresh produce, experience unique events and soak up live music and entertainment.

The chill in the air did not deter the 31,500 people who took part in this year’s Harvest Festival, resulting in an economic impact for the region of $2,827,743. This annual event continues to deliver great results and exposes the beautiful region we live in. Up to 25 event hubs took part exposing visitors to our valleys and mountains in scenic areas such as Jilliby, Yarramalong, Dooralong, Wyong Creek, Kulnura, Mangrove Mountain, Peats Ridge, Somersby and Calga.

Sadly, recent weather conditions did result in some hubs not being able to participate or having to change their offerings to ticketed events with restricted numbers. Despite this, it was very pleasing to see four new hubs in 2022, who all reported strong attendance figures and very positive feedback.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the event hubs for opening their doors and showing all what the Central Coast has to offer.
