Did you know that more than 40 per cent of people on the Central Coast are aged over 50? 

Every year, as part of the NSW Seniors Festival, we create a full program of events and activities specially designed for people 50 and over to celebrate their contribution to our community.

For 12 days, over multiple locations across the Coast, seniors can enjoy free and discounted entertainment, learn something new, enjoy seminars, workshops, art exhibitions, author talks and much more. 

Our two Seniors Expos will be a highlight of our festival. Held at Gosford Showground and Wyong Race Club, the expos are designed to encourage you to connect with community groups and organisations, discover services and activities and explore new opportunities available to seniors. 

This great event runs from 3-16 March, and you can view our exciting program of events on Council’s website by searching for ‘Seniors Festival 2025’.

As well as getting involved in our local festival, I encourage you to explore everything the NSW Seniors Festival has to offer – including the very popular Premier’s Gala Concert, Comedy Show and NSW Seniors Festival Expo. I believe that senior years can be some of the best years of our lives, particularly here on the beautiful Central Coast. However you celebrate, keep this year’s Seniors Festival theme in mind - it’s your ‘Time to Shine’.
