08/08/2024Central Coast Council invites expressions of interest from community organisations and commercial operators to enter a hire agreement with The Entrance Community Centre Cafe.
The successful tenant will ideally be a not-for-profit organisation, or a social enterprise organisation, who can provide a food service experience that complements the established large community centre and adjacent Art Gallery clientele.
Features of the Community Centre property:
- Located within the grounds of a frequently used Community Centre at 15 Battley Avenue, The Entrance
- Enclosed playground with shade sail
- Alfresco deck & seating
- Meeting rooms for hire
- Grassed area
- Enclosed courtyard
- Gallery space
- Training rooms
- Dance Studio
- Onsite parking
- LED Digital Noticeboard
The successful operator will need to meet the following requirements:
- Have an on-site accredited food safety supervisor
- Food Safety Certificate
- $20 million Public Liability Insurance
- Worker Compensation Insurance
- Adhere to Food Act standards and safety regulations
- Operate during lunchtimes, with flexibility for other times
The space is currently vacant, the successful applicant can operate at their earliest convenience.

Next steps:
The initial leasing opportunity is for 12 months in line with Council’s Leasing and Licencing Policy.
Applicants will be assessed against the relevant criteria and the community will be invited to have their say through Council’s standard Public Notice process.
