EOI
Open: 3 June 2024
Close: 7 July 2024
Program delivery: September-November 2024
We are seeking expressions of interest from Gosford CBD-based venues to participate in a brand-new program, Live and Local supporting live, local and live music trail in late 2024. Live and Local is delivered in partnership with the Live Music Office, and APRA AMCOS, withe support from Central Coast Music and Arts and Gosford Erina Business Chamber.
This opportunity seeks to support capacity building for venues in Gosford CBD to deliver live music activities, including non-traditional venues that do not currently support live music, which could include cafes, florists, tattoo parlours, restaurants, breweries and more.
We’d love to hear from anyone with an interest in working on a live music program.
What you need to know:
- Council will encourage audiences to come and explore a walkable program that showcases local talent
- Council will cover artist fees and/or production equipment (as necessary)
Support will be provided with event logistics and musician/s suitable for your space - Performances will be freely accessible to the public
- Council will coordinate all marketing and promotion in partnership with Love Central Coast
As a host venue this program will provide opportunities to:
- Connect with local musicians, helping to build your network within this industry
- Connect with other local businesses involved in the program
- Develop skills and experience in presenting live music
- Increase visitation and patronage to your venue
To express your interest in participating, please fill in our EOI form or reach out to our Community Development Worker, Bethany Falzon bethany.falzon@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au
Please note that we are only able to present the program in a select number of businesses for each of the dates. While we hope to accommodate all interested businesses, we cannot guarantee that all businesses who express interest will be confirmed for the program. We will be meeting with all applicants, and will prioritise support for venues and not-for-profit organisations who demonstrate long-term sustainable live music benefits to the district.
