Road Grading levels and smooths the road surface, removing uneven surfaces. This improves road safety, drainage patterns, erosion control, the structural integrity, and the lifespan of the road.

Some of the road works underway this week include:

  • Pothole works at Bateau Bay, Berkeley Vale, Empire Bay, Forresters Beach, Holgate, Kulnura, MacMasters Beach, Mardi, Matcham, San Remo, South Tacoma, Summerland Point, Tuggerah, Wamberal and Warnervale
  • Heavy patch works at Buff Point (Girraween St, Buff Point Ave) and Jilliby (Dicksons Rd)
  • Road grading works at Lower Mangrove (Popran Rd), Mangrove Creek (Oyster Shell Rd), Umina Beach (various laneways), Wyong Creek (Chandlers Ln) and Yarramalong (Bunning Creek Rd)
  • Road shoulder maintenance at Mangrove Mountain (George Downes Dr)
  • Road pavement upgrade works at Berkeley Vale (Lakedge Ave) and MacMasters Beach (The Scenic Rd)

DID YOU KNOW?
Road Grading makes the road safer, more durable and less impacted by adverse weather conditions. This can prevent more extensive and expensive road repairs in the future, while allowing vehicles to travel more efficiently, economically, and with reduced wear and tear.
