Central Coast Council Libraries has upgraded to a new library system called Polaris which is live now. This modern system will offer improved services and a better experience for our members and staff across all 10 of our libraries, as well as our website.

The Polaris system will bring exciting new features to enhance your library experience, including:

  • Easy and powerful searching – Find all formats of books (physical, audio and ebooks) together in search results. Conduct advanced searches for in-depth exploration with an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
  • Enhanced discover – Receive suggestions for similar titles and explore curated staff showcases highlighting interesting selections.
  • Improved accessibility – The web-based interface follows current accessibility standards.

Our staff are currently undergoing training to become Polaris experts and are happy to answer any questions you may have. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this new system together.
