We know that bushfires and severe storms are more common this time of year and can impact any of our communities on the Central Coast. Being prepared, aware and connected, makes our community stronger and able to recover well after a disaster.

With the recent unseasonably hot weather, we know it is important not to wait until it’s too late and start preparing now for emergency events. 

We’re encouraging you to use September to:

  • Download the Red Cross Get Prepared App during Red Cross Emergency Ready Week (16-22 September), complete a personal emergency RediPlan and be empowered to make important decisions ahead of time. We know accessing the most up-to-date information before, during and after an emergency is vital. Completing a RediPlan allows you to collate all your vital information in one place including key contacts, meeting places, animal plans, key documents, special items, medical information and more.
