Have you or your family ever wanted to pick up a new hobby and be more active, but felt uninspired or lacked motivation? Maybe you simply haven’t found your niche! Sometimes all it takes is a new and exciting activity, or a friendly and encouraging community to inspire you to ‘Get Active’. 

Get Active – San Remo and Blue Haven is an exciting initiative developed in partnership between the Office of Sport, Central Coast Council, and Central Coast Local Health District’s Health Promotion Service. The program aims to encourage the community to find a new sport or recreation that will help them be more physically active, foster social connection and build a stronger and healthier community. 

Following extensive consultation with local community groups and organisations, the Get Active campaign seeks to increase awareness of local sports and active recreation providers and facilities. The Get Active campaign acts as an information hub for community members to discover the unique and interesting activities that San Remo, Blue Haven and surrounds have to offer.  

Why not try action packed activities such as basketball, gymnastics, or karate? How about community gardening, dog walking, or cycling? 

From families to individuals, and from kids to seniors, there are a variety of activities for everyone!
