29/11/2024Central Coast Council offices will be closed on Friday 6 December 2024 for a Local Government State Award approved Union Picnic Day, and will re-open Monday 9 December 2024.
Some of Council’s services and facilities will be closed or have changes, however essential services will continue to operate.
Customer service and reporting of issues
- Customer Service Centres and Council’s Administration Building at Wyong will be closed Friday 6 December and re-open Monday 9 December 2024.
- The Service Desks at Woy Woy library and the Visitor’s Centre at the Entrance will also be closed.
- Urgent reports - We have an out-of-hours service available on 02 4306 7900 to call in any urgent reports such as water main breaks, sewer issues or urgent road safety issues (such as fallen trees over roads).
- Non-urgent - Customers can contact Council with non-emergency enquiries, requests, reporting issues or formal feedback 24/7 through our online Customer Service Centre. These will be progressed by our Customer Service Team from Monday 9 December 2024, during business hours.
Early Childhood Education and Care Centres
- All Centres will be closed and re-open for families on Monday 9 December 2024. This has been communicated to all families.

Gallery
- Gosford Regional Gallery, including the café and Edogawa Commemorative Garden, will be closed.

Laycock Street Theatre
- Laycock Street Community Theatre will be closed.

Leisure centres, gyms and pools
- Wyong Pool will be closed however other pools, leisure centres and gyms remain on normal opening schedule, refer to each facility web page for more information.
- 24-hour gym access is available at Peninsula Leisure Centre and Lake Haven Recreation Centre with appropriate access tag.

Libraries
- All libraries will be closed Friday 6 December 2024, however all after hours chutes will be open.
- Bateau Bay, Kariong, and Toukley Libraries will be available to customers inducted for Library@YourTime.
- Library Reservation Lockers will be accessible at Erina, Tuggerah, and Umina Beach libraries as well as Wyong Service Centre.
- A new Library Reservation Locker will be accessible at 42 Marine Pde, The Entrance.

Roads
- Urgent road maintenance or safety issues should be reported to Council by phoning 02 4306 7900, which will immediately go through to our out-of-hours officer to be assessed and responded to.
- Non-emergency enquiries, requests, reporting issues or formal feedback can be made 24/7 through our online Customer Service Centre, which will be progressed from Monday 9 December.

Water and sewer
- Any water service interruptions are listed on our website.
- Urgent water or sewer issues (such as a spill, leak, bubbling water, water decolourisation or no water pressure) should be reported to Council by phoning 4306 7900 immediately so we can assess and respond as soon as possible.
