Notification of temporary car park and road closures – Avoca Beach

Central Coast Council would like to advise that drainage improvement work will require the temporary closure of some roads/carparks in Avoca Beach from Monday 27 June to Saturday 9 July, weather and circumstances dependent. These areas include:

• Avoca Beach Surf Life Saving Eastern Car park
• Intersection of Avoca Drive and Burns Street
• Burns Street Carpark

To ensure nearby business and community members aren’t adversely impacted by the carpark closures, the overflow/grassed carpark area adjacent to the gravel Burns Street carpark will be opened to accommodate parking requirements during the school holiday period. 

The closure of the intersection at Avoca Drive and Burns Street will also result in bus pick up services being altered with temporary closures of the following bus stops:

• 57A Avoca Drive Bus Stop
• Avoca Drive Bus Stop, opposite Ascot Avenue

The Burns Street Bus Stop opposite Vine Street is to remain in operation.
