I am deeply saddened by the recent tragic bus crash in the Hunter Valley. I express my sincere condolences to the families, friends and communities of the 10 people who lost their lives and multiple people injured in this horrific event.

Like the Central Coast, the Hunter Valley is a tight-knit community, and the impacts of this devastating event will be felt for decades to come. 

The first responders including NSW Police, NSW Ambulance and NSW Fire and Rescue must be commended for their rapid response in this time of great need. 

All of Australia has been saddened by this, and I encourage everyone to keep an eye out for their loved ones and fellow community members, and to reach out for help if you need it.
