Central Coast Council is responsible for the sixth largest urban area in Australia.

Council structure
Central Coast Council’s current organisation structure is led by the Chief Executive Officer and made up of five directorates. Meet the team who make day-to-day decisions on operational matters at Council.
Capital Works Program
Each year Council plans capital works as part of its operational plan to upgrade our roads, water and sewer and other community infrastructure.

Financial Management

Council has plans in place to manage its responsibility to the community of being a financially sustainable organisation. 

Mayor and Councillors
The Central Coast Council is represented by 15 Councillors who were elected for a 4-year term, until September 2028. Our Councillors are elected by residents across five electoral areas known as wards. A Councillor’s role as an elected representative is to provide an essential link between the community and Council.
